We had four amazing boys come out for our one day workshop and they worked so hard on all the detail that we barely got through 3 projects with them!!! They worked on highlights, shadows, complimentary colors, and pop art with the crushed can project. They created a Koloa town scene with watercolors then later added ink outlines. After briefly learning the science of drawing a face they were challenged to drawing a self-portrait using KUGA’s wonderful dance studio mirrors. Those self-portraits were then transformed into the artist Roy Lichtenstein’s style of comics. Loved having them so much that we wish we could have had more time with them!
